Kids GPS Smart Watch FAQ

Before put a SIM card into the watch for use, we should ensure it meets the following first:

1. SIM card is GSM network

2. Has 2G data plan

3. Has caller identification

Common questions in use of watch.

1. App failed to send out any command info.

2. App map does not update the current position and time of the watch, located failed

Cause: The watch is not connected to the server.

Solution:

1. Check out if the watch GSM signal is right and turn out the mark of E.

2. Check if the SIM card inside the watch can support the 2G data flow, watches can only use the 2G flow.

3. Check the watch server parameters, including IP, port, and ID whether correspond to the server. Pls under the circumstance of watch power on while to check the watch parameters, send a text message to the sim card inside the watch by your cellphone, with the content of pw,123456,ts#, the text msg should be edited under the English input. Once the mobile phone text message has been sent out successfully, it will receive a reply message, which includes the IP, server port and id etc.

Generally, the reply message would show as following:

Compare with the watch reply information, if the ID on the watch is different from the ID from the msg, that means posted the wrong ID barcode on the watch, however, just reset the IMEI number, using a mobile phone to send a text msg to the watch with msg content of pw,123456,imei,xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx#. The watch will reply a message to the mobile phone once msg sent out successfully.

For example: pw,123456,imei,359614514986574#

4. Check the device list in the mobilephone app "ME", to confirm if the registered ID is same with the ID on the watch.

Question 3 : It shows line's busy when the mobilephone call to the watch

Cause: The watch cannot recognize the incoming telephone number or call to the watch in the periods of Do Not Disturb.

Solution:

1 . Check on the app if set up the number while the caller's number is not in the setting number in the app.

2. The display number on the watch which the mobilephone call to the watch is not the same as the setting number in the app, while the watch sim card and mobile phone sim card on the Group VPN calling service. For example, the watch can only display a full number, while set up the VPN number in the app, or display a VPN number on the watch while setting a full number in the app, both of these circumstances are not recognized by the watch, the setting number in the app need to be consistent with the watch.

3. Check if app setup the period of DO NOT DISTURB, during this period, the watch rejects any coming calls.

Question 4: Watch can answer any number of calls

Reason: The SIM card in the watch doesn't have the service of caller number identification, cannot recognize the number to reject the calling.

Solution: To apply the SIM card coming caller identification service from the SIM card options would be ok.

Question 5: The app cannot update the position, but the time has been updated, showing the status of Base station location (LBS).

Reason: The location of the watch's GPS signal is poor or have been in sleep status.

Solution:

1. Take the watch outside in a broad place, and then touch the locating in app, it will turn on the gps immediately.

2. The watch will never upload the data under the sleeping status, for saving the battery power,  that the APP presents the last time location of the watch, you can wake up the watch by shaking the watch and touch locating on app.

Question 6: It shows not connected when the watch dial out

Reason: The GSM signal of the watch SIM card is not good or using a poor signal SIM options. 

Solution: check if the GSM signal is going on well, you can read it from the watch display. If the signal is not good, it would be the GSM antenna assembly wrongly(this is seldom to happen) or the SIM card does not insert well, can insert and try it again.

Question 7: The ID in the watch reply msg parameters is different from the ID on the watch battery cover, resulting in the watch cannot connect to the server.

Reason: Production assembly wrongly, not scan the barcode or read the wrong code.

Solution: Use the watch IMEI on the battery cover, to reset the IMEI number. Use your mobilephone to send a text msg to set the IMEI with contents of pw,123456,imei,xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx# (Edit the text message under the English input method).
